My wife was editing some photos for a relative and I decided to keep her company. It was getting late which might explain some of these. The semester is already getting pretty crazy so it was nice to take a brake from all my assignments and relax a bit. Man, I love brush pens.

At Work

So while studying animation, I also work as a graphic designer here on campus... You know, to pay the bills and stuff... Graphic design is something I enjoy but I am not always free to be creative, and most of my work winds up being pretty ordinary. Once in a while, however, I do get to experiment a little. Here is a poster I put together for the copyright licensing department. It probably won't be used because it is less than conservative.

Quick Sketches

Just trying to capture life quickly as it flies by. I find this is a great way to record mannerisms, gesture and personality. Sometimes I even like what comes out in these quick studies.

The Witch

A friend of mine told me that I don't post often enough. I generally like to do so once every two weeks, but maybe I'll try once or twice a week and see who gets sick of it. This is an old sketch, one of many witch designs I worked on for a personal project. I still like her hair.

Here is a character concept for one of my friend's projects. Stefan is quite possibly the greatest hairdresser in the world.
